With a strong start to the new school year, many clubs at Medford High School have already had their first meeting to welcome all new members and to welcome back familiar faces.
The Activity Fair, held last week in the third floor overpass, was a great hit to introduce people to a number and diverse clubs at Medford High. The energy was high from members of each club talking about their respected club at their tables. There were standing colorful posters; fliers were passed out, and even music and dancing was provided by the BBoy Club.
Medford High offers more than 20 clubs with new ones springing up each year such as the Philosophy Club and Common Ground Social club. Not all the clubs offered here were represented but there seemed to be at least one club that attracted each person and their interests at the Activity Fair. Not only was one club different from the next, they all had their own meeting day ranging from Monday to Friday to keep the after school activity of the school buzzing everyday of the week.
Clubs offered at Medford High: Garden Club, Interact, Roots & Shoots, Mock Trial, Common Ground Social Club (new!), Philosophy Club (new!), Team Medford, BBoy Club, Math Team, Italian Club, Gay Straight Alliance (GSA), Yearbook, Art Club, Student Council, Robotics Club, Key Club, Anime Club, Asian Club, Chess Club, Hispanic Club, Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD), Science Team, and even more!
