Art Club interview by Devin O’Hare

Mustang News: What exactly does the art club do?
Gianna: Art club provides a safe environment for students to explore their creativity and let their imaginations run wild. We give students a fun place to relax after school by engaging in arts and crafts.

MN: How long have you been a member?
Gianna: I have been a member for two years now.

MN: Are there any projects you are currently working on, or are there any future plans for murals or artwork around the school?
Gianna: We are currently working on selling our Mustang Paracord Bracelets that we all participated in making. We are also brainstorming ideas for a mural that we will paint on one of the walls at school.

MN: What would you say about art club to encourage more members to join?
Gianna: To encourage more members to join I would inform them that they have a lot of creative freedom at art club, and that they can learn about new forms of art, and possibly find a new hobby.

MN: What are you going to miss the most about art club when you graduate?
Gianna: I will definitely miss Ms. Van Aken the most, because she is the kindest women I know, is always willing to help, and has the voice of Winnie the Pooh.
