Weekend Plans: UFC 156, Where the Warriors Meet!

Mustang News Cage Reporter Jason Fabiano

On Saturday, February 2nd blood will be shed but no tears will be let loose when Jose Aldo goes face to face agents Frankie Edgar in the octagon. Both fighters have remarkable records, with Jose holding 21 wins, 1 draw and no losses. Frankie, on the other hand holds 14 wins, 3 draws, and 1 loss. With shredded physiques the two warriors are battling themselves in a mirror. Jose (standing 5’7”) holds an extra inch on Frankie but both competitors hold 145 pounds of muscle to fight with. Jose, the 26 year old from Brazil, holds the featherweight title which Frankie will try to claim for the first time. Frankie was previously lightweight champion, but after losing his title to Benson Henderson and losing the rematch to reclaim his title, the former lightweight dropped down to the featherweight division to try to become champion once again. On Saturday February 2nd, at 9 o’clock I will pay my $55.00 to watch this iconic fight and many more unfold in the octagon on UFC 156.
