My name is Karley Perrin and I am a teacher at the Vocational School. I am honored to present the Stand Out Staff of the Month Award for March. This honoree was a teacher in Pennsylvania for 30 years prior to moving to Massachusetts. He joined the faculty at the Vocational School in 2008.
This dedicated math teacher is here early, stays late, and often works through his lunch to make sure his students receive any help they need. He teaches MCAS classes after school. In the words of his students, “He is a good teacher, and he explains himself very well, so everybody in class knows what they are doing.” Other comments include, “He is never late, is very nice, has a good sense of humor, makes students comfortable, and makes sure everyone knows their stuff.”
In the words of his co-workers, this teacher is a “great mentor, a helpful colleague, always pleasant, the person to go to for Smartboard help and training, spends countless hours to help his student understand the material, encourages students to reach their potential, and is always willing to help out.”
The Stand Out Staff of the Month for March is Mr. Jim Campbell, Vocational School Algebra I and II Teacher. Congratulations and please come to the main office in the High School to claim your award.
