Book Review : The Mark Of Athena

By: James Durham

Recently, I have made some progress in the Heroes of Olympus series by Rick Riordan. The Heroes of Olympus series is an extension from The Percy Jackson and Rick Riodan is also the author of that series. If you enjoy Greek and Roman Mythology like myself, then this series and The Percy Jackson series are perfect for you.

Besides my solid praise for Riordan, The Mark Of Athena is another one of Riordan’s #1  New York Times bestseller, along with #1 Indie bestseller, #1 USA Today bestseller, and #1 Wall Street Journal bestseller. This book is around 580 pages filled with action, romance, and deep personal narratives to various characters/demigods. It was published on Octobert 2,2012.

If you were one of those people who were strangely addicted to the Harry Potter Series, I would definitely suggest this to you for it is something that you may be aboard with. It is definetly an chronic read because I personally could not put it down easily; however, I was a little bit angry that Riordan ends this book with a cliff hanger that leads directly into the next book in the Heroes of Olympus Series, The House Of Hades. Overall, I would give The Mark Of Athena by Rick Riordan 4 out 5 horseshores.
