Crisis has come upon the FIFA world as allegations of money laundering and criminal mismanagement during the voting of the 2018 and 2022 hosting nations of the world cup have been publicized and an investigation has been started. Seven officials have been arrested and 14 others have been indicated in a separate probe as of now. Those included in the allegations range from executive to current vice presidents to even referees themselves. Reports have states that over 100 millions dollars have changed hands during the time period of the corruption.
