    Gianna Romano,

My name is Katja Thacker, a twenty-one-year-old college student. As an older sister and mentor, I believe that kids should get proper healthy lunches. I agree that if all kids were given healthy lunches, they would be more energetic in other aspects of school, in and out of the classroom.
I have a fifteen-year-old brother going to high school, so this article intrigued me. He never eats a healthy lunch since it is not offered. He told me if he wants to eat healthy, my mom has to plan out his meals at home for the entire week, however, she does not have the time; therefore, he resorts back to the unhealthy options.
Healthy lunches are not offered in schools. It is affecting kids’ energy, mentally and physically. If we give our kids healthy lunches, their possibilities in life are endless. They are the future.
